you do, visit the Museum
of London. It tells the story of the nation's capital from
the earliest time to the present day. You can see recreated
Roman Dining Rooms or an 18th century prison cell. If you have
children, they will probably love the museum's exhibition, 'Macabre
London' which includes a death mask and the dismembered carcass
of an auroch (a large cow) dating from 1800 BC and recently
discovered in West London.
The Museum boasts over one million
exhibits including costume, decorative arts, paintings, photographs
and household items.

Natural
History Museum
This was one
of the museums we were often taken to when I was a child
because here you can see dinosaurs. As well as its world class
dinosaur exhibition, you can see a life sized blue whale and
a wildlife garden showing the different habitats found in Britain.
The museum also tells the story of the Earth from Big Bang to
the forces that are still shaping it today.
