If you are interested in militaria or military history, don't miss the National Army Museum in Royal Hospital Road. It covers the history of the British Army from the 15th to the 21st century. Its displays include paintings, equipment and the largest collection of military uniforms in the world.

Science Museum
This was another museum that was a special treat to visit when I was a child because there are so many 'hands on' things to do there. You can see all kinds of machines from working steam engines to an Apollo Command Module. The museum's exhibitions cover many different aspects of science from the 18th century to the present day.
